Charlotte studied for three years at The Royal Veterinary College, where she graduated with FdSc in Veterinary Nursing, qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) in 2014. She continued her studies there for a further year, whilst working as an RVN part-time for her BSc Honours in Veterinary Nursing and graduating in 2015.  Charlotte joined Southfields Veterinary Specialists in 2016 as a multi-disciplinary nurse and later moved to the internal medicine department in December 2017. Charlotte was appointed Senior Internal Medicine Nurse in November 2019 and in this role, she managed the internal medicine nursing team, working closely with the internal medicine specialists and wider nursing team. She recently progressed to the Clinical Services Team Lead where she oversees Internal Medicine, Neurology and the Surgery departments. Charlotte obtained the Vets Now Emergency and Critical Care certificate in 2019 and Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) status in small animal internal medicine (SAIM) 2022. Charlotte’s area of interests within medicine include: transfusion medicine, endocrine diseases and emergency medicine.
