Suzanne worked in a small animal practice in Nottingham for five and a half years where she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1999 from the Berkshire College of Agriculture. In 2002 she joined The Feline Centre at Bristol University working exclusively with cats and running an advanced feline nursing course for the Feline Advisory Bureau. In 2004 she gained the Diploma in Advanced Medical Nursing.

Suzanne was funded by Novartis Animal Health for 3 years, allowing her to present a series of roadshows around the UK on geriatric clinics and senior pet care. Suzanne also visited practices demonstrating and training nurses on how to measure blood pressure. Suzanne is currently nursing in The Feline Centre at Langford Veterinary Services and holds the A1 assessor award, which she uses to assess and teach the veterinary nursing degree students.
