These in-depth courses are fully flexible and interactive, where you receive weekly lessons and tasks, along with quizzes, tutorials, case studies, further reading articles and full access to an engaging forum for the duration. The course is fully supported by an experienced speaker, who is available for the duration of the course to help answer questions and support your online learning.

It is expected that you should spent 2.5 hours each week on the learning platform, participating in the various tasks, lessons and forum. We know this isn’t always possible though, so there are no deadlines or time frames imposed, and the course is flexible to fit in with your other work / life commitments.

New material will be released each Monday morning, throughout the course, but you can access this material whenever you like, and complete the lessons and tasks whenever is convenient for you. You can complete the whole 10 hours of a 4 week CPD on the final Sunday of the course if you wish, or watch a tutorial at 3am – whatever works best for you!

Some courses will have live Q&A sessions or live webinars – you will be given prior notice of dates and times, but if you aren’t able to attend – not to worry! All live sessions will be recorded and placed onto the website to view for the duration of the course.

Just in case time gets away with you, all the courses will have a 2 week extension following the official course completion date. This ‘catch up’ time will allow you to finish any uncompleted tasks or lessons. Please note though, that the speaker will not be supporting the course during this time.

The tutor will be available for the duration of the course to provide learning support and comment on written assignments, so for example, you could submit a week 1 task during week 5, and the tutor would still accept this work and provide feedback for you.

All material will be available for two weeks following the official course end date, to allow for catch up time, however, the speaker will not be available to support your learning during the catch up weeks.

Please ensure you have completed the course by the end of the two week extension, as CPD hours cannot be earned beyond this point.  You will however have unlimited lifetime access to the learning materials for future reference.

Notes taken using the ‘take notes’ app will remain in your account permanently, along with your certificate and CPD hours record.

We have a range of 4 week courses which provide 10 hours of CPD, and more in-depth 6 week courses which provide 15 hours of CPD.

All courses will have a 2 week extension of untutored ‘catch up’ time to allow for flexibility in learning, where you can gain the full CPD hours.

After course completion you will have unlimited lifetime access to the learning materials for future reference.

A four week course costs £205 +vat and a six week course cost £255 +vat
Tutored courses are exempt from VAT for our international colleagues

Payment is required at the time of booking, and can be made by debit or credit card (directly on the website).

Payment with debit / credit card via the website is our preferred payment option, however, if you need an invoice and no other payment method is available to you, then please email [email protected] with all the following information:

• Full name of delegate
• Email address for delegate
• Course(s) booking
• Any discounts / promotions being redeemed
• Practice name and address
• Invoice address (if different to above)
• Practice code or reference if required (eg Vet4Pets practices)
• Email address to send the invoice (practice manager, accounts department or head office – not your own email address please)

Please note:

• Invoices must be requested a minimum of 4-6 weeks prior to a course starting, to allow time for the payment to be received
• Delegates will not be allowed access to any course without prior payment
• An invoice will be emailed to the contact provided and the course booking will be reserved for 7 days, whilst payment via debit / credit card or BACS is arranged
• There will be an administration fee of £2.50 per invoice generated. You may book multiple delegates / multiple courses on a single invoice to the same practice

Once you have paid for your course, you will receive a course ‘registration’ email, outlining the course details and your receipt. At this point, your placement on the course is provisional – we cannot guarantee that there will be enough delegates booking on the course for it to be viable to run.  As soon as we are able, we will send a course ‘confirmation’ email – this is to confirm that there are sufficient delegates booked onto the course, and that it is definitely going ahead. The current status of each course may be seen on the course calendar page

Immediately following payment the tutored course will be available in your account, by visiting ‘My Courses’.  You will see the course and a welcome page, but all other pages will be pre-dated for release.

You will also receive an email one week prior to the start date giving more detailed information on how to access the course.

All the tutorials can be paused, moved forward or backwards and repeated as many times as you like, if you would like to listen again, or take notes.  The tutorials also come with a copy of the presentation slides, should you wish to annotate these during the tutorial.

If you would prefer, each tutorial is also available with English subtitles.  Please note, that these are automatically computer generated, so we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy, especially with drug names and medical terminology, for example.

Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to offer a full tutorial transcription.

Nothing technical!

Tutorials may be viewed on all Apple and Android computers, laptops, mobiles and tablets.

We understand that sometimes you may not be able to attend a course that you booked.

If your situation changes more than a month before the course, you may:

1. Transfer your placement to a colleague (free)
2. Cancel completely (20% cancellation fee)
3. Transfer to an alternative course of your choice (free)

If you need to cancel less than a month prior to the course, then a refund may not be possible – please email us to discuss options, but you are always very welcome to allocate the course to a friend or colleague as a replacement.

Unfortunately, some courses are more popular than others, and occasionally we do need to cancel courses that only have a few delegates booked. In this scenario, we will give you as much notice as possible (absolute minimum of 28 days), and offer you one of the following options:

1. Receive a full refund
2. Transfer to another course of your choice
3. Transfer the funds to vouchers for online courses

You may choose to receive a FREE tasty mini treat box at the start of your tutored course!

One week prior to your tutored course starting, you will receive an email with some details regarding the course, along with information on how to receive your mini treat box.  Boxes are not sent out automatically and have to be requested via the email, to ensure correct postal addresses and correct dietary requirements.

Boxes are A5 letterbox sized and can be requested in the following options:

Tutored courses are included in our ‘Excel Membership’ which is a monthly subscription, which costs just £100 +vat / month / per person via direct debit.  This membership gives unlimited access to the whole library of flexi courses, eCPD case studies and eCPD tutorials, along with one tutored CPD course each month!

Following membership purchase, you will be automatically enrolled onto all of the relevant tutorials / courses on the site.  These will be available to you directly from your personalised ‘membership dashboard’.  Just click to view whichever ones you like!

The Small Print!

• Each delegate will receive 100 pawprints for free upon booking their first course (including the free eCPD tutorials!)
• Pawprints are automatically received on all courses booked online.
• Pawprints may only be redeemed against courses on this website, and cannot be redeemed for cash
• Pawprints cannot be collected on memberships, special offers or discounted courses.
• The Pawprints loyalty programme started on 1st September 2018, and any courses booked prior to this date will not be eligible for points.
• Pawprints reward individual delegates for their loyalty – it is not intended to be used by practices
• If your course was booked online for you by your practice, please ask them to transfer your points to you by using this form
