Description
Course Summary
This 60 minute tutorial will talk you through important terminology and physiology related to anaesthetic circuits, before examining the different types of anaesthetic circuits and how to calculate fresh gas flow rates for each type. Safe selection and use of circuits is a crucial part of a veterinary nurse’s role in anaesthesia but often overlooked. As nurses we all learnt about circuits at college, but how much can you remember and how much do you apply in your daily lives?
