Proximal Colon had fusis Coli*6-8mm) which speeds motility. BER 70 x (BW), MER -BER X Disease factor. Indigestible fibre- Bark,straw & willow. Simple digestible fibre- critical care diets, fresh food. Complex fibres- Hays, Grasses. Complex Carbs are better. Fats in diet should be 2.5% dry matter. Protein 12-15% dry matter. Low Protein diets have greater encouragement to eat caecotrophs. Veggies high in Calcium- kale, spinach, spring greens, watercress & parsley. Low calcium veg- cauliflower, brussel sprouts, carrots, peppers, fruit.
