Laboratory Analysis

This 45 minute eCPD tutorial will discuss all aspects of laboratory analysis, which is an essential part of the RVN / laboratory technician role.  Correct sample handling is essential to ensure an accurate diagnosis for our patient, whereas poor or incorrect handling can have detrimental effects on the sample, leading to an incorrect diagnosis and treatment. We will cover sample collection, storage and processing, along with understanding laboratory values and their importance.
