eCPD Tutorial with Elle Haskey
The aim of this 60 minute eCPD tutorial for veterinary nurses, is to explore the different options available for nutritional support. There is an introduction into the aims of nutrition in our hospitalised patients. The tutorial then covers each type of feeding tube available, directions on how to place the tube, how to set up a feeding plan for the patient, how to manage the tube and deal with potential complications. Parenteral nutrition is also briefly discussed.
