Amber studied for three years with Myerscough College where she graduated with FdSc in Veterinary Nursing, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2017. Amber worked in mixed and general practices before moving into ophthalmic referral, where she was appointed lead veterinary nurse. She continued her studies whilst working as lead ophthalmic RVN, for her BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing.  Amber moved into veterinary nurse lecturing whilst studying her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in the Teaching, Coaching and Mentoring Pathway, which she achieved in 2023. Currently she is practising as an Animal Care Lecturer. She is particularly interested in wildlife, ophthalmic and medical nursing.
