Course Summary
This 30 minute eCPD tutorial outlines the uses, complications and contraindications of jugular catheter placement. It looks at the correct catheter selection and discusses patient preparation whilst going into detail about placement using the Modified Seldinger technique. Finally we discuss the nursing management of the patient and catheter.
