This 30 minute online tutorial discusses the  pros and cons of different types of feeding tubes that can be used in practice.  It will focus on tube placement from a nurse's perspective, management and how to administer tube feeds.

Vicky qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1996, whilst working at the PDSA Aston. She then moved to a more rural practice as head nurse and clinical coach.

 

After having two children Vicky returned to general practice in 2007, still wanting to further her knowledge, she obtained a Dip HE CVN in 2010, followed by Dip AVN(SA) in 2011, and a First class Honours degree in CVN in 2012.

 

Vicky moved to Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral service in 2011 and has been a Medicine/ High Dependency Nurse and a Clinical Coach since.
