Veterinary medicine is an innovative fast moving profession. New advances are made at a constant rate, which makes old practices obsolete. With the advent of the regulatory system for veterinary nurses it is even more important to be aware of what measures may need to be taken to remain on the correct side of what is both ethically and regulatory correct. This includes the mandatory requirement for continued professional development (CPD).
In this 45 minute eCPD tutorial, we will discuss many of the situations which may arise in veterinary practice and the importance of the professional code of conduct and the relevant parts of the VSA Act (i.e. Schedule 3), in order to make an informed decision on what to do when dilemmas arise.
