Description
Course Summary
Electrocardiography is a useful tool in practice for identifying rate and rhythm abnormalities. As nurses we monitor ECG frequently, whether under anaesthesia or sedation, or for our hospitalised patients, and so understanding what is it that we are looking at and being able to identify normal vs abnormal is essential.
This 60 minute eCPD tutorial will look at what an ECG is, cardiac anatomy and the conduction system, how to record an ECG, and how to identify normal vs abnormal rhythms. Finally, working methodically through several cases, you will have the opportunity to test your knowledge.
