Description

Course Summary

Diseases of the liver are commonly encountered in dogs and cats, but their diagnosis can be confusing. This 60 minute eCPD tutorial will begin by discussing the important liver diseases encountered in clinical practice and the difference between these and secondary liver diseases. We will then discuss the different blood tests used when investigating the animal with suspected liver disease, and also how they are performed and interpreted. Diagnostic imaging in liver disease will be briefly discussed along with ways of obtaining liver tissue.
