Course Summary

Alfie is a 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier that presented to the veterinary hospital with sudden onset of blindness within a duration of 4 weeks.  He was diagnosed with diabetic cataracts. This case study will discuss pre-operative tests, surgery and post operative considerations.


The course involves a written case study, a quiz and further reading articles.

Sian is currently working towards her VTS in Ophthalmology and enjoys sharing her knowledge with fellow veterinary nurses as she feels it is a subject that is not widely covered in the nursing curriculum.
