Description

Course Summary

This 60 minute eCPD tutorial will explain what is needed to obtain dental radiographs, and how we then position the X-ray machine to obtain diagnostic images. A must for any practice which has, or is contemplating installing dental radiography! This is an area where nurses can become actively involved!  Dental radiography is an essential part of dentistry; human dentists do not practice dentistry without radiography. The benefits include detection of disease which may otherwise be missed, assisting treatment decisions and educating clients. Overall, the patient’s health and welfare will be improved. It is not expensive to install, and there are many options from using film to digital systems.
