Physiotherapy Lecturer, Berkshire College of Agriculture

Katie is programme leader on the BSc (Hons) in veterinary physiotherapy at Berkshire College of Agriculture (Royal Agricultural University) and managing director at 'Justo Development Ltd', a training company for veterinary physiotherapists, nurses and animal care professionals.

She has been a veterinary physiotherapist for 17 years and has been training students from around the world since 2003.  Katie is dedicated to the progression of the industry and has been involved in running innovative training programmes and conferences such as the International Symposium in Animal Musculoskeletal Practice and often speaks at events such as The Animal Rehabilitation Exhibition. She is currently the veterinary physiotherapy representative on the board of The Animal Health Professions Register (AHPR).

Katie is the only veterinary physiotherapist to hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Education from the Royal Veterinary College (University of London) and has been awarded lifetime fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. Katie is also a member of the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP).  A firm believer in life long learning she has just embarked on a Masters in Equine Science at Hartpury University which will be focussed on equine rehabilitation and performance.
