Historically anaesthesia has been high risk in rodents and rabbits. However, careful patient evaluation and correct care of the patient before, during and after the anaesthetic will enable much greater success rates, and hence a greater range of options for treating these species in practice. This 30 minute eCPD tutorial will cover nursing and care of these patients around the time of anaesthesia.
