Mentoring in Practice

This 70 minute eCPD tutorial, starts by looking at what mentoring actually is, and the functions that mentoring can have within the veterinary practice. We look at the differences between mentoring, buddying systems and teaching, and how we can implement these systems. We will look at learning styles, pastoral care and interviewing, along with how to motivate people and how motivation can effect work output. Lastly we will discuss how to start mentoring in practice and the benefits that it has within the practice.
