Feline Behavioural Problems

This 75 minute eCPD tutorial will discuss feline stress and its role in undermining welfare and causing behavioural problems in cats. It will look at how to identify feline stress and also how to approach a feline behaviour problem, including basic ‘first aid’ advice, what to include in a behavioural investigation and the main treatment options. It will also cover what is needed for successful behaviour counselling and look at some of the important factors affecting compliance. Stress contributes to many of the behaviour problems that cats develop. Its prevention is therefore of primary importance if we are to avoid problematic behaviour in the cats that we live with and encounter professionally.
