Canine Cushing’s disease, or hyperadrenocorticism, is a condition resulting from chronic excessive cortisol. This 45 minute eCPD tutorial for veterinary nurses explains the pathogenesis, presenting clinical signs, common diagnostic tests and treatment options for hyperadrenocorticism. The role of the veterinary nurse is critical in the diagnosis and management of this chronic medical condition. The goal of this presentation is to increase awareness and understanding of this condition and therefore improve the care of affected dogs.
