The aim of this 30 minute eCPD tutorial for veterinary nurses, is to revisit the anatomy and physiology of the kidney and to understand the signs and symptoms which may be observed when our patients develop an acute kidney injury. This tutorial covers the classification of AKI, how we diagnose the condition and the treatment options that are available. The nursing considerations whilst caring for the AKI patient are discussed in detail.
