Veerle qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Gent, Belgium in 2001. After two years in France, she came to the UK in 2003 and worked at several practices throughout the country, integrating acupuncture, herbal, therapeutic exercises, nutrition and first line medicine. Veerle has studied veterinary phytotherapy with Peter Conway and acquired depth in her experience as an acupuncturist while working with Lowri Davies. She also has a certificate in Safety and Competence in acupuncture awarded by the ABVA.
Veerleis a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists(www.abva.co.uk), theBritish Association of Veterinary Herbalists (www.herbalvets.org.uk) and the British Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Association(www.bvrsma.org.uk). In April of 2014, Veerle passed the International Veterinary Chiropractic Exam in Germany, a course only open to vets and chiropractors, and is now a member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (www.ivca.de).
